ABOUT YOUR STAY

  • Check-in is from [3pm]. 

    Check-out is at [11am] on the morning of your departure. If you need flexibility, just let us know in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

  • Yes, absolutely. You’re welcome to arrive at any time. For later arrivals, we’ll provide you with clear self check-in instructions and remain contactable by phone.

  • We’re just a short distance (2.5 miles) from Totnes train station.

  • Yes, you're welcome to bring your bike. We have a bike rack where you can lock it securely.

  • We strive to make Meadowfields as accessible as possible. If you have specific accessibility needs, feel free to get in touch and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

  • We do not provide Wi-Fi, but you can pick up 4G on most networks. We encourage you to take this opportunity to switch off and relax while you’re here.

  • We have nappy changing facilities in our shower block and highchairs.

  • Yes, dogs are very welcome. 

    We charge £25  per dog per stay for up to 2 dogs in our pods and bell tents . 

    Please ensure:

    1. Dogs are kept off bedding

    2. Dogs are kept on leads at all times 

    3. Dog waste in put in the Poo bins provided

    We do not have a dog walking field at Meadowfields. Check out our Discover page for nearby dog walks.

  • While you can’t park directly outside the pods, there’s plenty of onsite parking just a short walk away.

  • We have an electric vehicle 4 hour fast charging point site. There is also an Electric vehicle charging station at Strawberry Fields Farm Shop.

  • We’re not on-site all the time, but we do have an emergency contact for after hours assistance.

  • Definitely. All the pods are insulated and have heaters to keep you warm and cosy during your stay.

  • The pods are perfect for cosying up with tea and a book while you watch the rain through the windows. Plus, there’s the communal barn with comfy sofas, tables and board games to keep you entertained. Don’t forget about the amazing local places to eat and there is also a cinema in Dartington and Totnes. See our Discover page for more information.

  • We provide fresh bed linen and towels for guests booked to stay in our pods or bell tents. If you are bringing your own tent or Camper van please bring bed linen and towels.

  • No, our duvets are feather free.

  • Yes, all pods and communal spaces have power points and lights.

  • Each pod has a heater to keep things warm and cosy throughout your stay.

  • Currently there are no electric hookups. We plan to install them for 2026.

  • There are lots of fantastic places to eat and drink nearby, or if you prefer, you can purchase food to cook at the campsite. Check out our Discover page for local recommendations.

  • While breakfast isn't included, tea and coffee facilities are provided in the communal kitchen.  For a delicious cooked breakfast, head over to Ben’s Farm Shop or The Green Table nearby.

  • Yes, drinking water is available in the communal washing up area and kitchen.

  • Our communal kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for cooking, including a fridge and oven. List at a later date.

  • Yes, we have a communal fire pit with kindling, firelighters and matches available. Firewood can be purchased on request.

  • Our communal bathroom features underfloor heating, a power shower, flushing toilets and a spacious washing up area.

  • We provide hairdryers in the communal showers.

  • We don’t provide personal wash products, so  please bring your own.
